In accordance with the Decree of the Board of Directors through Circular Letter No.113/SE/PRESDIR-SMMF/XII/2015 concerning Corporate Social Responsibility in the Environmental Sector, the forms of CSR activities in the environmental sector that have been implemented throughout the Company’s branch office network include :

  • Electrical energy savings
This Environmental CSR activity is carried out continuously with the activity of turning off the lighting on the entire network of the Company’s branch offices during lunch break hours at 12.00 - 13.00 according to the time zone where the branch is located. In addition, the Company’s employees are always reminded to unplug unused electrical equipment to reduce the use of electrical energy. These activities have always been carried out since the issuance of the Circular Letter of the Board of Directors in 2015.
  • Recycling Utilization
This Environmental CSR activity is carried out with an appeal to all employees to use used paper in the Company’s internal interests. In addition, all employees of the Company are urged not to use plastic bags but used cardboard or paper bags as containers for documents or others.
  • Use of Teleconferencing Services
To reduce exhaust emissions resulting from the use of fossil fuels in private vehicles and public transportation, the Company remains committed to using online meeting services in communication with the Company’s regions or branches.
  • Planting Pollution-Absorbing Plants at the Head Office
The dense urban environment with skyscrapers does not hinder the Company’s steps to green the earth. One of the greening steps taken by the Company is to place potted plants at the Company’s head office which is useful as a pollution absorber in the form of carbon dioxide (CO2) gas produced by motor vehicles. It is hoped that these small actions can contribute to the reduction of the Greenhouse Effect.

The Company is committed to continuing to implement small and tangible measures to combat climate change and global warming.
